In fields such as technology, business, and marketing, accredited online degrees are widely recognised. Some companies are now placing less emphasis on formal degrees and instead prioritizing candidates with proven skills and real-world experience.
That said, change is coming. By 2025, nearly 70% of corporate training is expected to be delivered through e-learning platforms, showing growing trust in online education.

Education institutions in the California State University (CSU) system have teamed up with OpenAI to supply their 23 campuses and 460,000 students, together with 63,000 faculty members, with a customized version of ChatGPT. This effort aims to build AI expertise among students so they can better navigate an economy that is increasingly reliant on artificial intelligence.
The DataQuest platform, maintained by the California Department of Education, provides students and staff full access to K-12 public education system statistics about their state. The resource platform provides educational data on enrollment statistics, curriculum information, and other essential educational metrics.

Although it is unlikely that online education will eliminate in-person learning, the educational landscape has permanently incorporated this approach as an essential component in higher education. California students, universities, and employers must shift their operations toward digital learning because this approach has become essential for the future of education.
